The value of AI in the workplace

In 2023 alone, Microsoft’s Copilot for M365 gained over a million users. This just shows that behind the headlines of AI’s achievements are significant benefits to businesses.

The volume of people, data, processes, technology, information, communications, economic uncertainty, work/ life balance…

It’s too much.

Nowadays, we spend more time sorting through emails and taking part in meetings that could be emails than making use of the incredible creativity we have.

Is less burnout, better communication, and creative freedom of value to you? Do you see the benefits of a technology that’s built with people in mind, makes work accessible, and assists with admin tasks?

Then you see the value of AI.

The value of artificial intelligence

Defining the value of AI is something many organisations are beginning to do.

We don’t know what’s going to happen with AI in the future, but that’s what’s exciting. It’s already revolutionising personal lives and workplaces, and with the right rules and regulations in place, it has the potential to drive creativity, improve the human experience, and streamline processes.

To ready leaders and businesses for the age of AI, we’ve created a document outlining the true value of AI, including where AI is going, the types of AI, use cases, and the different AI solutions from Microsoft.

This resource is free for you to download. Check it out.

Advancements in AI

We’ve reached the point where AI isn’t just a far-away idea or wish. It’s here. As with any new technology, we’re in the middle of a drastic shift: moving away from experimentation and into real business use.

Microsoft coined a term: digital debt. Referring to the inflow of data, emails, meetings, and notifications we receive on a day-to-day basis, this debt is said to be causing a lack of innovation. Every workday is spent trying to get ahead, only to be set further back. With nearly 65% of people saying they struggle with having the time and energy to do their job, digital debt isn’t just an inconvenience, it’s impacting people and organisations.

AI, specifically Copilot for Microsoft 365, is designed to reduce this debt. It organises everything, categorises everything. That way you know what doesn’t need doing, and what needs doing first.

Understanding Microsoft’s AI ecosystem

The Value of Artificial Intelligence brochure explains all Microsoft Azure AI services in detail. Azure AI is where innovators are creating the future. Unlike traditional AI platforms, Azure AI gives you control.

Built on Microsoft’s Azure Cloud platform, it enables people of all skill levels to build intelligent solutions with ease.
